Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for residents in Central Maryland.  We accomplish our mission through community service programs and community outreach initiatives that promote improvement in the quality of lives of youth and their families.

Over the past 5 years, in conjunction with our community partners, we have provided book scholarships, middle and high school male and female mentoring, tobacco and sexually transmitted infections education, summer youth enrichment, school supplies and food to over 10,000 youth and 2,000 families in Central Maryland.

Operation Timothy

Operation Timothy is a Christian-based mentoring program that will equip young men from grades (5-12) to be productive in their personal life, community life, and work life with the assistance of positive role models.

Virtuous Steps

Virtuous Steps mentorship program is for teen girls ages 11-18 years of age and is open to the public. The program starts the 1st Sunday in October and ends the 1st Sunday in June. Our life skills lessons are on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month,

LCDC Community Youth Center

The benefits of the LCDC community youth center are job creation, a healthier community, stronger families, education and economic empowerment, safe haven, crime prevention, and a comprehensive approach to the needs of the community.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry offers healthy and nutritious meal solutions to families in need. Our loving staff not only serves food but also offers prayer and encouragement.
